    The disease in which there is difficulty painful scandy micturation is called as Mootra krchra.

    Causes :

    • Excess physical exercise, sharp or acute medicine, dry food, alcoholic drink , travelling, eating flesh of animals living in marshy places ,
    • Frequent food intake and indigestion all these are factors that provoke dosas and produce mootra krcchra.

    Symptoms :

    • Obstruction to passage to urine store gases, pain in cardiac region, back, abdomen, bladder region
    • Flatulence, nausea, burning pain during micturition, indigestion.

    Ayurvedic Remedies :

    • Bruhathyadi kashayam
    • Chandraprabha gulika
    • Punarnavasavam
    • Gokshura punarnavadi gulika

    Mutrashmari

    The provocation of all the three doshas especially vata, causes drying of urine resulting in the formation of ashmari i.e. calculus.This produces obstruction in the urinary flow. there is pain in penis, bladder region,perineum.The flow of urine is interrupted or divided, this is called as mootrashmari vyadhi.

    Causes :

    • The located vata in the bladder causes drying of kapha, Pitta ,urine and semen. This results in the formation of Calculus. All the three dosas are responsible for this.

    Symptoms :

    • There is severe pain with shivering and tremors. the patient gives pressure on the umbilicus and screams due to pain. He passes stools along with flatus. The micturition is frequent and dribbling.
    • There is burning and hot feeling in bladder. the calculus is like a Dobby nut. the colour of calculus is red, yellow, black.
    • there is pricking pain ,heaviness and a cold feeling in the bladder. The calculus is big,hen egg shaped, smooth, white or Honey coloured.

    Ayurvedic Remedies :

    • Bruhathyadi kashayam
    • Chandraprabha gulika
    • Virataradi kashayam
    • Punarnava guggulu.
